Meet the people behind JUMP! Canada.
Monica is a life enthusiast (and environmentalist) who views the world as a continual opportunity for connection and learning. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Monica has a myriad of event experience regionally and nationally. Some of her projects include: the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, two tours with The David Suzuki Foundation (ENGO), and TED Talks. She graduated from Capilano University with a B.A. in Tourism Management. If she’s not working on JUMP programming you’ll find Monica outside either in the woods, on the water or running. She’s committed to building connections and relationships with the indigenous people in her community who’s land she’s privileged to live, work and play on.

After 8+ seasons working on-program in outdoor education across North America, Arizona is thrilled to have transitioned into a year-round, office-based role within the industry. In particular, Arizona is passionate about all that students can learn from experiential programs and then later apply in their everyday lives. She believes one of the most valuable takeaways can be the habit of responding to change and challenges with strength and positivity. She considers herself lucky to be the type of oddball that loves paperwork, organizational systems, and well-composed excel documents. Because of this, she is more than happy to take on the background work that allows current on-program facilitators to create life-changing experiences for youth in British Columbia and beyond.
