Tailored to prepare you to be a JUMP! Assistant Outdoor Leader, this 7 day immersive training camp includes workshops on team building, leadership, facilitation techniques, and outdoor skills. You will learn how to support on our low and high ropes courses, climbing wall and canoeing adventures. You will also get a sampling of what it takes to be an outtrip leader through a 3 day mountain trip that will introduce you to assisting in a backcountry setting. In a supportive environment, forge lifelong friendships and cultivate confidence. Step into any leadership role with the skills and resilience gained from this transformative journey!
After successful completion of the Leaders In Training program, we may invite you to join our team as a volunteer Assistant Outdoor Leader. We will give you a 10% refund on the Leaders In Training course fee for every JUMP! program you volunteer as an Assistant Outdoor Leader in 2026! The perfect way to practice what you’ve learned and gain valuable leadership experience! Although volunteering for hometeam is always welcome, only Assistant Outdoor Leaders will receive the 10% refund.
